The parish runs a Sunday School for 5-11 year olds who do not attend catholic school. We meet in the back room of the Parish Centre for an hour from 11 am on Sundays.  We have a faithful group of young people who help and Father Paul also comes to talk to the children and give us a blessing before we go back to our homes.  Our aim is to inform the children about their Catholic faith and to help them develop a lifelong friendship with Jesus.  Within Sunday School, the children are prepared for First Reconciliation and First Communion;  during this process they share liturgies and develop friendships with the children who go to our catholic schools. 

The Sunday School logo (below, right) shows a circle of children around a cross formed by four L-shapes.  These stand for Lots of Love, Laughter and Learning. This was designed for the Millennium Banner by Emma Bryant and Kristy Tomlinson.
