| Parish Zambia Project Launch | ||||
| The
parish has pledged to support Sister Vianney's Mission in Kaoma, Zambia.
The Mission contains three residential centres, caring for 142 orphans and
vulnerable children, and supports extended families fostering orphans. It
runs a Mission Community School, and provides training to enable young
people to live independently.
We hope to raise £5000 by March 2011, to contribute to the running costs of the Mission. To introduce the Project, a launch event was held over the 7th and 8th March 2009. |
