On Sunday 23rd October , as part of the Parish 50th anniversary celebrations, a Liturgy of Thanksgiving was held in the original venue for Mass in the Parish, the Memorial Hall (Hut) on Station Road. Founder members and their families were especially invited, and were joined by more recent parishioners. An enjoyable service was followed by afternoon tea in the Parish Centre.
